Sometimes the best designs are the simplest. A client approached me needing a quick and affordable bracket to mount small cylindrical tanks to a wall — and we ended up with a neat little design trick.
The bracket is a single sheet metal part that adapts to the shape of the tank. As you tighten it down, a lip bends and wraps around the tank thanks to a 20mm section of continuous metal. No forming needed. No added complexity.

What the client needed?
While on site doing maintenance, the client saw that one of the injection molded tank brackets had failed, leave a pressured storage tank supported by only the connectors at the bottom. A quick part designed to be laser cut had was the way to go
